Casper and the Platte River, Wyoming

You can make reservations at the Platte River Resort and get the special Convention room rate of $65.00 each using their Online Reservations. Be sure to mention the Rocky Mnt Convention to get the convention room rate!

Platte River Resort is under new ownership. They are nearing completion of a multi-million dollar remodel, upgrade and feature improvement. The 2010 Rocky Mnt. Convention will be one of the first events held in the new facilities.

Soon, registrations will be accepted online at the Convention Web Site. You can download and print pdf_icon.gif this registration form info_circle.png and mail in your registrations.

Please Note! The prices shown at the Convention Web site are incorrect. See the registration form and below for the correct prices. I'm sure the Convention site will be corrected soon. Likely about the same time the online registrations are enabled.

An ARRL VEC testing session will be held by the Casper ARC VE team. New license exams, upgrades - all are welcome! No pre-registration required, walk-ins welcome. You do not need to attend the convention to take an exam. $15 Testing Fee payable at the test session.

Saturday Swapfest - NO CHARGE TO HAVE A SPOT, NO CHARGE TO ATTEND SWAPFEST (supply your own table/booth/security setup)

First Year Ham $20.00 Registration Fee, Both EarlyBird, Regular or at the door. (Meals, etc. are in addition) First Year Ham defined as first licensed between May 27th, 2009 and May 28th, 2010 as per the FCC licensing database.

  • EARLYBIRD REGISTRATION - Thru March 31st
  • ARRL MEMBERS - $20.00 If Not An ARRL Member - $30.00
    • ARRL Family Member (non-licensed spouse, etc.) gets ARRL rate if register at same time as ARRL Member
    This gets You:
  1. Access to the Convention Forums, Exhibitor/Vendor area
  2. 1 ticket for the Early Bird Prize Drawing
  3. 10 Convention Prize Drawing Tickets
  4. A $5.00 discount on your Saturday night banquet ticket (your cost will be ($30.00) ARRL
